About
I am a political scientist from Universidad Nacional de Colombia with a Master's in Public Policy from Universidad de los Andes, awarded through a scholarship from the university's Centro de Español.
I have extensive experience in the research, design, implementation, and evaluation of projects on armed conflict, gender, and LGBTIQ+ populations — working across grassroots organizations, government entities, and universities.
I worked for about four years in collaboration with "Casa Diversa", a community organization in Medellín recognized as the first LGBTI collective victim of the armed conflict in Colombia. At FIP I served as a gender researcher for USAID's Generando Equidad Program, and I currently work at the same organization on a pilot analyzing the interrelations between productive processes, greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), and gender dynamics in key productive sectors in Colombia.
Beyond research, I am a passionate photographer. My visual work explores intimacy, identity, and everyday beauty through portraits, still life, and conceptual photography.
